As digital natives with real-world campaign experience, we understand what voters are actually talking about and how to meet them where they are. From messaging and content creation to full-scale digital strategy, we bridge the gap between outdated consulting models and the realities of today’s online landscape. Our Team
Jack Richardson joins as Senior Advisor. Jack has experience serving in senior roles in state, county, and local elections. He learned the value of community organizing at 15 through Senator Markey’s campaign and has worked on progressive campaigns ever since. Jack has served in the fundraising arm of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, breaking multiple fundraising records. He also served as campaign manager for State Representative Thomas Moakley, handling logistics for a campaign stretching 3 counties, 9 towns and over 6 islands. He also served as a senior advisor and get-out-the-vote director for Senator Fernandes in one of the closest state senate elections in the history of Massachusetts. In addition to his role with GEM, he serves in the Massachusetts State Senate in the office of Senator Dylan Fernandes.
Chandler Eby joins as a Senior Adviser for Gem. Chandler has worked on every facet of a campaign, from communications and field to being a candidate himself. He learned what messages break through with voters because he has talked to voters, leading a slate of Democrats to historic success in deep red rural Pennsylvania. Chandler has served as the Head of Communications for the Ephrata Democratic Committee, Volunteer Coordinator for Brad Chamber’s campaign for PA House, Head Organizer for Alice Yoder’s campaign for Lancaster County Commissioner, and currently works for Commonwealth Communications as a Digital Content Creator. Additionally, Chandler founded and worked as the Director of the EPIC PAC, an organization that recruited young candidates for local office in Pennsylvania.
James joins Gem as a Senior Consultant. With a degree in political science from DC's American University, James is a seasoned political strategist with a history of success in progressive campaigns. From serving as campaign manager of a state representative race, where his leadership helped secure an underdog a decisive victory, to victorious campaign work in a competitive Senate race, James brings both experience and an unwavering commitment to progressive values and is ecstatic to be a part of the push for change the country needs.
